English as a first language, Spanish as a second, I speak a little French, and I want to learn Arabic. I’m taking Portuguese classes.
I’ve traveled to 16 countries on five continents (Australia’s coming up), and have lived abroad.
I play classical piano, chess, and squash.
I read “hard” science fiction, historical and political analysis, and anything else I can get my hands on.
I dislike talking on the phone, and I like YouTube even less.
I love driving, running, biking, and moving fast.
I am taller in my head than in person.

I would recommend taking a look at the linguist programs within the military. I went through about a decade ago as a Russian linguist — 52 weeks of intense Russian training in Monterey, CA. I intend on returning — hopefully for Arabic. All branches offer it, but I’d recommend the Air Force… for many, many reasons.
Great Blog — found it while running a search on Google for Iran/US war articles.
